my dogs stools are almost always black....yet she seems perfectly healthy in every way. Is this an issue?

My dog Sampson dislocated his hip when he got hit by a car last week. The vet put it back in but it popped out again. Now the vet is saying that we can do one of three things: FHO, toggle pin, or total hip replacement. There is a significant price difference between each option so I`m having a hard time deciding which one to do. Is FHO a good option for my dog? He`s an American Boxer, American Bulldog, Neapolitan Mastiff; he weighs about 100 lbs and is 100% muscle. I know big dogs shouldn`t do FHO but I also know that muscular dogs can have success?

96 Windstar(70K), wipers operate only on high, spray works, turn signals, dim etc work, replaced combo switch, all worked for a while,(one month) now only on high again (replaced switch again, still only works on high), what should I check/replace next?

My purebread black lab is having a mucous like discharge. I don`t think it is coming from her rectum & her stools seem normal. Could she have a urinary tract infection? It is not constant but I have noticed it a few times recently. She does not seem to be bothered by it.

We have a 1982 mb 300sd and the side windows seem like they are out of their tracks. if we take the panels off and put them back in the tracks what will keep them there.

my dog has a hoarse bark yet otherwise he seems totally healthy - does he just have a hoarse / soar throat from barking too much? or could it be more serious?
